E-KWALITY RADIO is really happy to receive STREET MACHINE and his FREQUENZWERK residency !
STREET MACHINE, also known as Teardrop, has been a fixture of the french electronic music scene for over 35 years.
Influenced by hip-hop and soul music, he discovered electronic music in 1988 at Le Boy in Paris, and soon after, his first underground parties. He bought his first vinyl records in 1990, followed by turntables in 1991.
In 1992, he took his first steps as a DJ on the French electronic music scene and continues to this day, delivering dynamic and melodic sets inspired by techno pioneers such as Laurent Garnier, Manu le Malin, Jeff Mills, and Carl Cox. With a rich and varied musical repertoire, he currently has two musical projects: STREET MACHINE, a techno project, and Teardrop, a project focused on dark disco and indie dance/rock.
He remains just as active today, having been a regular at After O’Clock parties at Glazart for five years. He also performs regularly at Rosa Bonheur in Paris.
