E-KWALITY RADIO is thrilled to welcome one of Line Out Radio’s founders and friends, FORTNUM, for his SWEETBACK’S BADASS SONGS residency.
FORTNUM has been exploring electronic music since the 90s, inspired by the pioneers of Detroit and Chicago. A key figure in the rave scene in France and abroad, he then moved into sound design for brands and media outlets before returning to the stage with the collective alongside Mason Rubinstein, Noise Catalog, and Zak Brannigan.
He co-founded the Budé Room radio shows, now an iconic part of Line Out Radio, and performs in legendary venues such as Folies Pigalle, Batofar, Glazart, 4 Éléments and Nuba. A resident DJ at Astral, and a guest on Paris One Reverse and DeepKulture, he works across a variety of formats: clubs, radio, and hybrid live performances.
His sets blend techno, house, drum’n’bass, breaks, and electro, always with a strong emphasis on storytelling. He has a strong club culture but a lifelong passion for rave. He particularly enjoys 4-hour back-to-back sets on two tables and four turntables, a favorite playground for improvisation and connection.
FORTNUM is also one of co-founders of the Volphonie label and hosts « On refait le mix » with Electric Rescue, Noise Catalog and Zak Brannigan. His goal remains the same from the beginning: to make bodies vibrate and minds travel.
